Craigbane Seniors play tonight in round 2 of the Elk Senior Championship against Glen Maghera. The venue is Banagher. Throw-in is 6.45pm. Craigbane will be without the talented Aidey Mc Laughlin through suspension. Craigbane have had a number of disappointing league results in the last 2 weeks and they will be looking to put an end to the drought on Friday night.
  At Owenbeg Craigbane had a couple of fantastic results in the Og Sport only narrowly missing out in the semi-final against Newbridge. Under 14 player Rory Moore player give an eye popping display and was successfully awarded the player of the tournament This was a great day out for the young lads and a special thanks to the parents who gave tremendous support through out the day.
  On Sunday seventeen year old whiz kid Lee Moore gave another exibition show for the Derry minors against Monaghan in the semi-finals of the Ulster Championship. Lee scored a tally of 5pts and also set up numerous scores for his team mates as the minors ploughed their way to the final by beating Monaghan on a score-line of 1-10 to 0-01.
  Congratulations to the Under 14's who completed the league title
on Wednesdsay night with a fine win over Drumsurn. A great team effort and a lot of thanks has to go to coaches Brendan Gormley and Raymond Sharkey who stuck by the team through the league campaign.
The next hurdle for the under 14's is the semi-final of the championship
against Limavady which should take place next week sometime.
  There will be an Under 10 blitz at Owenbeg on Friday night. All players
to be at Owenbeg for 6.30pm sharp.
  There will be a club meeting next tuesday night after the Lotto draw.
All comittee members are asked to be there.
  There was no Lottery Jackot winner this week. The numbers were 01, 03, 07 and 22. The £50 Lucky Dip winner was won by the Curran family, Sallowilly.
