FÉILE PEILE NA nÓG 2003 5th JULY 2003
Craigbane took part in the Ulster Féile Peile Na nÓG 2003 hosted by the Carrickmore club in Co Tyrone on Saturday the 5th of July. This was a hugh event with 96 teams from all nine Ulster counties taking part. Craigbane travelled to Newtownstewart for their first two matches. Then it was on to Carrickmore to take part in a spectacular parade of the teams through the town featuring ten bands. With two wins out of two in the morning matches this meant Craigbane were on the move again, this time to Augher for the final. Here Craigbane lost out to St Johns of Co Down.This was a great day for the young players involved, they performed superbly both on and off the pitch. Wearing their new tracksuits, they were one of the best turned out teams on view.
